Just bought my second one
We bought this item 8 months ago for my first child because we wanted the best car seat we could find. Not knowing that much about car seats we went for an expensive and highly rated seat from Amazon users. I figure the combination of both of those should contribute a significant part to my child’s safety. This possibly is not the best way to purchase an item but car seat descriptions are confusing and so full of legalese that reading about each model from a manufactures website is not much help.
Regardless I am so very happy about the first one I bought that i have just ordered a 2nd one for my younger child who in the last 8 months has grown out of his old one. As others have commented it is indeed heavy and not that easy to put in but the end result is a seat that does not tip over when going around corners, does not let the child sneak out of the arm restraints when your not looking, and comfortable for the child so they don’t complain about sitting in it for long periods…(not that this changes anything as they are staying there whether they like it or not). but at least they are happy.
Point is buy this car seat, the fact that it happens to be heavy and bit hard to put in has very little bearing when deciding about your child’s safety….so suck it up…your baby is safer

Super processing
Since we have had no accident (thank God) I can write anything about the safety of baby car seats. And I am relying on the ADAC and guess what I can do that too.
What I can tell is the processing and the quality and I must say 1a! The relatively high price is completely justified if this means my baby is well protected and still fits comfortably. He is also adjustable and therefore sizes up to 12 years of age used. A simple instalation in the car with 3 point seat belt rounds the whole thing.
We are completely satisfied!

Thanks
In October 2008 we bought for our child, the twins’ Kiddy Comfort Pro. This was – subsequently considered – a very good “investment in the health of our children.
In June 2009 we were in for a fun time on the way home. We drove on a country road at about 65 Km / h through a wooded area and approached an intersection, as an ambulance coming from the right horn import without a high speed, disregarding the right of way at this intersection. The collision was unavoidable.
Our children have suffered through this horrible crash no physical injuries. This we owe to the great seats and the fact that wit always ensure that they are properly seat belt.
My wife and I have suffered – thanks belt tensioners, airbags and excellent safety cell of the vehicle – “just” very painful fractures. Our Mercedes Viano and the ambulance, however, are only a scrap heap.
