Older than age 1 and more than 20 pounds:

• Use a forward-facing car seat correctly in a back seat every time your toddler rides in a car.
• Use the right car seat with a harness for your toddler’s weight and height. Toddlers are weighed and measured at every doctor visit, so be sure to keep track.
• Use the car’s safety belt or LATCH system to lock the car seat into the car. Your car seat should not move more than one inch side to side or front to back. Grab the car seat at the safety beltpath or LATCH path to test it.
• Put harnesses through the slots so they are even with or above the child’s shoulders. Some seats require use of the top slots when the seat is forward-facing, so check instructions.
• Be sure the harness is tight, so you can’t pinch extra webbing at the shoulder.

No more slumping babe

To keep the snuzzler done an excellent job sagging seats and baby swings. It can be used with any kind of loop or strap, with 5 points, 3 points, and the typical swing belt.

Despite the information that want from others, I emphasize that this is safe for use in the car seat. It is designed so that the padding on the side of the child and not behind the baby. This will be noted on the packaging: “Can be used in all car seats, is Snuzzler specifically with padding on the sides of the child’s head and body, designed to be suitable for the child’s back for belt adjustment. This is in line with the requirements of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which says that “Never place cushioning under or behind your child. This also prevents belt use is Snug. I have two of these seats, after reading all the reviews and are very happy with them. They were easy to assemble and install in your car. (anything that does not make a whole day project that is a bonus!) The best part is that boys love their seats! You may Cubby holes for their toys and sunglasses, and we love the cup holders for comfort on long journeys. Previously there was no retreat.

We originally bought this seat for my 4 years and found that it is so convenient and protection as we threw our 2 years and bought the Britax Roundabout, Graco Nautilus for him too. In addition to the safety features you expect in a car seat this booster also contains a large “master” chair for children probably feel like it – grow up to 100 kg (in contrast to other seats, say the space for children, starting from a certain size and weight, but over-tighten). The booster also has head restraints on the sides to protect against whiplash injury in a collision, but also a comfortable headrest for napping in the car.     Read more...
