Best Money I Spent!
This product is outstanding! We used it to take our 2 year old and his car seat across the country and it worked like a charm. It even allowed us to take our son off an airplane and through an airport sound asleep! He enjoyed his “stroller” and would ask to ride in it as soon as it was hooked up. It was a breeze to hook together and was an easy matter to take apart and reattach for security checks. It is important to note that it only works with a latch system car seat. Ours is an older Britax Roundabout and it worked perfectly. We were asked several times by airport personnel, other mothers and random people where we got the product. Over six years and several trips with our children, we’ve tried a car seat bag (the strap broke) and a back-pack strap thing (then we still had to carry our child or a stroller) and both were outrageously expensive and very disappointing. This inexpensive product is a true find and I intend to tell every parent I know traveling with a car seat all about it!
A practical solution!!
I recently flew alone with my one-year-old and used the traveling toddler strap with a Britax Marathon CS and a Victorianox 22″ wheeled carry-on bag. The system worked flawlessly. I did practice at home before traveling to make sure the set-up would work AND to make it into a game for my daughter (we wheeled around the house and chased the dogs and made riding fun to prepare for the not-so-fun trek through the airport). The strap worked really well and was easy to attach and detach. It also worked well to help carry the car seat when not attached, as one flight was on a smaller plane where we had to gate check our bag and I had to carry the car seat to our seats. I should have bought more and sold them in the airport because I was stopped several times and asked where I had bought a suitcase that you could attach the car seat to… when I explained it was just a strap and the price, people wanted to know where to find them. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. The only drawback was needing to reattach the seat after gate-checking the bag… I left my child in the car seat and loosened and re-tightened the LATCH straps, as I wasn’t strong enough to get it all re-attached otherwise… but it was still pretty easy all-considered.

I cannot say enough great things about the Traveling Toddler!! Wow, we recently took a trip that connected in the Atlanta airport, and the Traveling Toddler strap made ALL the difference! We were able to roll our baby right onto the plane (we bought him his own seat, for safety), and then roll him off when the flight was over. It eliminated the need for a stroller, or to even have to worry about gate checking anything. Super easy to use. I practiced with it in the house the night before our trip, and it was no trouble at all to figure out. Our baby loved it, and he got lots of attention from jealous/ envious parents as we effortlessly rolled through the airport, onto the rental car bus, and into the rental car!! If you are going to fly, you must by this product.

We flew with our almost 2 yr. old and it was a life saver. Especially since I flew home solo. I don’t know how we would have gotten our suitcase, carseat (graco nautilus) and child to and through the terminal w/out it. The strap was very quick & easy to use. The best part was that she was not wiggling in my lap and hollering because I wouldn’t let her down. She was strapped to her seat and was a much happier camper as were all the other passengers! We had several questions about how we had her seat attached to the suitcase and folks were always amazed! Definately worth it!
